Love Can Picafort and BQ Hotel. We went to Majorca for the first time and we are in love with the island. The hotel is great, fantastic breakfast buffet, amazing and helpful staff. 2 minutes walk to the beach 🏖️, two pools. We are definitely going back next year! Photos are not of the hotel!

Highly recommend. Regarding location, the hotel is close to the beach (less than 5 minutes walk), shops, bars and supermarkets. Staff are super friendly (reception, restaurant, cleaning and evening entertainment), and breakfast and dinner buffets have a huge choice of food - both fresh and cooked, and good quality. There is a choice of two pool areas and a small but well equiped gym and sauna. Bikes can also be hired. We stayed for a week and could have happily extended for a second week.

I recently stayed at BQ Can Picart in Majorca and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel’s cleanliness and top-notch room service stood out, making my stay comfortable from the start. The buffet was a highlight of my dining experience, offering a diverse and excellent selection of dishes. I highly recommend trying the delicious omelettes and the mouthwatering olive bread - they’re truly a treat. With two pools available, relaxation was easy to find. Though the provided towels required a 10 euro deposit, it was a convenient touch. However, the cooling systems in the room left something to be desired. The fridge was only mildly effective, and the air conditioning required constant operation to maintain a basic level of coolness. If you’re sensitive to warmth during sleep, I suggest bringing a portable fan to ensure a more restful night. During my stay, I encountered a few issues with the room. After addressing these concerns with the staff for a few days, I was eventually moved to a more suitable accommodation. Notably, for effective resolution, it’s best to voice complaints in the morning, as the late shift staff might have limitations in decision-making. The in-room entertainment featured a Samsung TV and usable internet, offering some digital comforts. However, if you’re heading to the beach, be prepared for drinks ranging from 6 to 10 euros. On a brighter note, the swimming pool embraced inflatables, and there were ample empty loungers available for relaxation. While the hotel provides nighttime entertainment, it’s wise to pack your own games for added fun. Daytime entertainment mainly consists of streaming music, keeping the atmosphere lively. A minor drawback was the absence of large water bottles for sale at the hotel or restaurant. This meant purchasing nearly one per person, which could be improved for guest convenience. For those who enjoy a good beer, the main option is Mihau. The beach, a mere two blocks away from the hotel, offers easy access to sun and sand. Keep in mind that the bunk beds in the rooms are on the shorter side, making them less suitable for taller children. Additionally, the double bed is actually two singles joined together, which could affect overall comfort. Although the balcony offers ample space for drying clothes, it might not be ideal for lounging outdoors. If you’re planning to use the in-room safe, be prepared for a deposit requirement. In conclusion, BQ Can Picart offers a friendly and enjoyable stay, with a few quirks. With some adjustments and personal touches, you can make the most of your time here and create wonderful memories.

We booked through easyJet holidays and had a fantastic time at this hotel. The hotel is situated a five minute walk from the beach and near the shops and bars. It is only a five-minute walk to the Aldi supermarket and the bus stop (outside of Aldi) where you can get the bus into Alcudia, Porto Alcudia and also Palma. The rooms were well kept and cleaned each day. The communal areas were well looked after. The cleaners at the hotel make sure every area is spotless no matter what time of day it is. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. Very international. Even though there were quite a few people at the hotel, you never had to queue for a table at dinner and there was always plenty of food available and it was constantly being replenished. Sunbeds were available every hour of the day and only a few people were placing towels on them and reserving them. It was NOT the norm for people to do this. There was NO queuing up for sub beds at silly oclock in the morning. This is a fantastic change from a number of hotels we have been to in the past. Even when people popped off for lunch, the majority of people took their towels with them. The hotel caters for a variety of International travellers and the reception staff seem to speak Spanish, English,French,German and Italian. This is a laid back hotel offering a accommodation to a variety of nationalities, there was entertainment every night but if you are wanting boisterous activity you may need to go elsewhere. We were happy with the entertainment we happened to see. There are two pools in this hotel which is a great asset as you can pick and choose where to go. The one across the road, literally 20 seconds away, has a snack bar. Tips Take a travel kettle as there isn't one in the room. Remember when you get to the hotel you will have to pay the tourist tax. You will also need to pay for a safe for your duration, if you choose to have one. You do get the deposit back on the key. Hire a towel. They are great. You pay 10 Euros deposit on each towel and you get this back at the end of the holiday. You can change your towel every day with the lifeguard. Check out nofrills excursions. We did a couple of trips with them and we were very impressed. If you have any questions, email BQ, they are really good at responding to any queries you have. Improvements To improve the experience- the pool could be open later. Also, I think it would be advantageous for the restaurant to stay open later than 9PM because sometimes you just want to chill out a bit longer, rather than having to rush back to get ready for the restaurant literally closing and asking you to leave at nine.

For a hotel in such a hot place, they could do with bigger fridges and at least an ice machine that guests could use. Swimming pools are only open from 9-7 which is also a downer. Balcony lights can only stay on until 11h53pm, why?! Food buffet is expensive for what's offered: unsalted food and drinks are also expensive compared to what the goods actually cost. Place is overall clean at least. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not.

Nice rooms, we had room from street site but was all good. Nice and quiet after busy days. Beach not far at all. Close to all restaurants and shops. Staff really happy to help when needed. Food good, always something different , but all tasty. Really recommended
